Another rumored lens got officially announced today for the 2026 CP+ show: the Sigma 85mm f/1.2 DG | Art lens for Sony E and Leica L mounts (previously reported here). This is just a development announcement – the lens will be officially released in September:

나오는 줄 이미 알고 있던 시그마 35.4 렌즈 후속이 CP+쇼 이전에 공개가 되었군요.
살짝 짧아지고 약간 가벼워진 듯 합니다. 화질이야.. 구구형을 써 본 경험상 믿고 쓰는 아트렌즈..ㅎㅎ
고급렌즈들이 이제 크기 줄이는 쪽으로 방향을 계속 잡아줬으면 하는 바람입니다^^

2026 CP+ 쇼가 얼마 남지 않았네요. 26일에 시그마 CEO 가 아마도 신제품을 발표할 거란 소식입니다.
단종된 35.4 ART 렌즈의 후속 버전이 예상되고 있고, 최소 2개의 렌즈는 공개할 것 같다는군요.
L마운트 연합의 한 축을 담당하는 시그마인 만큼 당연히 L마운트 렌즈로 기대합니다~
우연히 구입하게 된 구형 렌즈 리뷰다.
2012년에 최초 출시되었으니 대략 14년은 된 듯 하다. 물론 L마운트는 훨씬 이후에 나왔겠지만,
이 렌즈는 우리가 DSLR 을 쓰던 시절부터 익히 알고 있었던 아트 삼식이의 L마운트 버전으로 보면 되겠다.
별 생각없이 해외 판매 싸이트들을 보다가 저렴한 가격에 판매하고 있어 눈에 딱 들어왔던 렌즈.
물론 그만큼 상태는 좋지 않아 보였지만, 광학계만 멀쩡하면 그만이었다.
지금은 DG DN 으로 미러리스 전용렌즈가 나오고 있지만, 그 이전에 생산되었던 과도기적 렌즈다.
기존 DSLR 에서 사용되던 렌즈에 밑단을 늘려서 미러리스의 플렌지 백을 맞춘 그런 외형이다.
그래서 밑단이 그냥 늘려있는 듯한 아쉬운 모양새를 하고 있고, 기존의 HSM Art 렌즈와 앞부분은 아마 동일할 것이다.
지금의 DG DN 렌즈들은 살펴보니 요즘 미러리스 렌즈들처럼 밑단에 단순히 플렌지백 길이만큼 늘려놓은 것이 아니가 조리개 링을 그 부분에 배치해서 나름의 의미를 부여한 듯 보였다.
개인적으로는 요즘 나오는 미러리스 전용 렌즈에 비해서 너무 크기가 큰게 아닌가 싶다.
기존에 DSLR 에서 쓰던 광학계를 그대로 가져다 쓰니…뭐 화질은 좋을 것 같은데,
미러리스에서 짧아진 만큼, 렌즈에서 길어진 느낌인 셈이다.
DG DN 렌즈도 조리개링은 장착이 되었지만 여전히 길고 커서,, 광학계의 엄청난 변화가 있어 보이진 않는다.
몇세대가 지나야 아예 미러리스만을 위한 더 짧고 컴팩트하면서 화질까지 챙긴 렌즈가 나오지 않을까 싶다.
10살이 넘어버린 렌즈한테 바라는게 너무 많은 것 같기도..
어차피 현존 DG DN 렌즈의 조리개 컨트롤만 참을 수 있다면, 이 렌즈를 저렴하게 쓰는 것도 좋아 보였다.
과도기 적인 렌즈라서 어쩌면 구하기 더 어려운 것일지도 모르겠다.
67미리의 필터 구경에 한 손을 거의 차지하는 크기는 사실 내 취향과는 거리가 있었다.
조리개에 집착하는 편도 아니고,, 조리개를 포기할 지언정 크기를 포기하진 못해서.
사실 곧 나온다는 SG-image 의 35mm F2.2 팬케익을 목 빠지게 기다리는 중이다.
이 렌즈는 우연히 구입? 했던 만큼 기대도 없었는데, 예민하지 않은 내 수준에서는 역시 아트렌즈는 훌륭하긴 하다.
시그마가 그동안의 세월을 그냥 대충 보낸건 아닌 것.
작정하고 만든 라인업인 만큼 무게만 참을 수 있다면 분명 훌륭한 렌즈임에는 분명하다.
DG DN 신형 렌즈에서는 거리계 창도 사라지도 심플하게 디자인이 바뀐 듯 하다.
그래도 여전히 너무 커서.. 새로운 광학 구조로 새롭게 태어나길 기대해 본다.
집에 30mm F1.4 DC DN 렌즈가 있어서 비교를 해봤다.
아트 삼식이와 삼식이를 비교해 보는 정도가 되겠다.
사실 풀프레임에서 기대하는 수준이 바로 오른쪽 크롭용 30.4 렌즈의 크기라고 말할 수 있겠다.
저정도 크기에 뭔가 들어간다면 너무 좋겠지만, 현실적으로는 어려워 보이는게 사실.
고급 렌즈에 대한 수요가 요새 얼마나 있는지는 모르겠지만,, 저렴하게 35미리의 밝은 렌즈를 써보기에는 훌륭한 선택이 될 수 있겠다.
