블랙을 좀 써봤었는데, 실버가 훨씬 더 괜찮아 보이는군요.

너무 컴팩트해서 왼손이 좀 허전하기도 했었는데, 화질은 괜찮았던 기억입니다.

실버 좋아하시는 분들께 괜찮은 팬케익 렌즈가 되겠군요~

Thypoch Simera 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. Lens Review

타이포크 시메라 28.4 렌즈에 이어서 35.4 렌즈를 리뷰하게 되었다.

시메라 라인업이 F1.4 밝은 조리개의 대구경 렌즈 라인업으로

나름 고급렌즈군에 해당된다고 볼 수 있겠다.

이번 렌즈 컬러는 블랙.

28.4 렌즈와 크기가 비슷한 느낌이다.

역시나 이번에도 사각후드와 함께 사각캡, 원형캡 모두 제공.

가급적 후드없이 쓰는 걸 선호하는 편이라서

역시 이번에도 사각후드는 제외하고 사용해보았다.

필터구경 49mm로 시메라 28.4 와 동일했다.

스펙을 비교해보니 전체적인 크기고 비슷한 모양.

짜이즈 디스타곤 35.4 보다는 당연히 작지만,

라이카 주미룩스보다는 커보여서 욕심을 부려보자면

조금 더 작은 크기로 나왔으면 어땠을까 싶다.

디자인은 시메라 28.4 와 같은 결을 유지한다.

차이점이라면 포커스 탭이 일반 탭과 인피니티락 두가지가 존재하는 듯.

일반적인 라이카 렌즈같은 느낌은 주는 레드와 화이트 컬러의 폰트들.

적당히 빛에 반사되는 코팅 질감도 마음에 들었다.

0.7m 의 최소 초점 거리 + 라이브뷰로 0.45m 까지 촬영이 가능하다.

최근에는 이런 접사가 가능한 렌즈들이 많아서 M-EV1 에서도 쏠쏠하게 사용될 것 같다.

리뷰하면서 라이브뷰로 접사를 많이 찍어봤는데, RF 에서 한계점이었던 접사의 답답함을 어느정도 해결해주어서 좋았다.

다만 사용해보면 알겠지만 이런 형태의 모든 렌즈들이 0.7m 에서 살짝 걸리는 느낌이 드는데

동일한 토크로 돌면서 걸리는게 아니라 0.7m 에 가까워지면서 빨려들어가는 느낌이 들기 때문에

0.7m 부근에서 촬영할 때 초점링을 컨트롤하기가 살짝 어려워진다.

직접 써보면 알게되는 부분. 하지만 이 렌즈만의 아쉬움은 아니고 접사 기능이 있는 최신의 모든 렌즈에서 보이는 단점일 것이다.

역시나 타이포크 렌즈의 상징이라고 해야할까.

켄(Kern) 마크로-스위타(Macro-Switar) 렌즈 스타일을 계승한 visifocus.

실제로 촬영할 때 이용하지는 않지만, 심미적으로 만족감을 주는 부분.

35.4 렌즈를 쓰면서 28.4 때보다 더 접사 기능을 많이 써 본 것 같다.

개인적으로는 써드파티 렌즈 중에서 타이포크의 포지션이 가장 적절하다고 생각하는 편인데

35.4 가 화각이나 디자인, 가격면에서 가장 관심이 가는 모델이었다.

35미리 화각이 풍경과 스냅이 모두 가능한 느낌이라 즐겨 찾는데,

접사 기능까지 있어서 좀 더 자유로워진 기분이었다.

주미룩스의 여러세대를 다양하게 써 본 경험은 많지 않지만,

최대 개방에서 어느정도 화질이 보장되려면 5세대 이후를 선택해야 되는데

가격적인 면에서 적절한 대안이 될 수 있지 않을까 싶다.

또한 주력으로 쓰는 렌즈가 짜이즈 디스타곤 35.4 라서 비교를 하지 않을 수가 없는데

최대개방에서 화질은 디스타곤이 좀 더 뛰어난 면은 있지만,

타이포크 시메라가 이번엔 크기면에서 좀 더 편리한 측면이 있다.

화질과 가격, 크기에서 적절한 포지셔닝이 되었다고 할 수 있지 않을까?

사실 얼마전에 LLL에서 35 아포 렌즈를 출시했었습니다.

포스팅을 할까 하다가.. 개인적으로 LLL의 행보가 만족스럽지 않아서 지나갔는데,

앞으로 5개의 아포 렌즈를 출시할 계획을 내놓았군요.

새롭게 공개한 35 아포의 가격이 300만원이 넘던데 선을 넘은게 아닌가 싶더군요.

LLL이 주목받았던 것은 비록 디자인 카피이지만 수준 높은 퀄리티를 보여줬고 어느정도 납득할 수준의 가격 정책이 있었기 때문이었는데

그 선을 어느순간부터 조금씩 넘기 시작하더군요. 제조사로서 방향성은 이해합니다만

그와 동시에 디자인 카피 회사라는 이미지 또한 탈피를 해야 된다고 생각하는데.

리지드 디자인에 다른 렌즈를 넣는다던가, 이해할 수 없는 행보가 이어졌었습니다.

솔직히 각종 싸이트들에서 바이럴 또는 제휴 때문에 할인코드와 홍보가 많더군요.

그래서 포스팅을 따로 안했었는데.. 뭐 일단 5개 아포 렌즈를 내놓는다니 소식은 올려봅니다.

다만 렌즈 가격이 납득은 안되네요. M 은 감성의 영역이 대부분이라고 생각하기 때문에,

이정도 가격이라면 다른 라이카 네이티브 렌즈나 더 돈을 모아서 라이카 아포 렌즈를 구입하는게 낫겠습니다.

타이포크, 맨들러, 아티즈랩 등등 아직은 적당한 가격으로 생산하는 다른 제조사들도 많아서

LLL 을 선택할 이유는 없어 보이네요~

Main features of the Voigtlander Apo-Lanthar 90mm f/4 close focus VM lens:

  • Apochromatic design: We have thoroughly eliminated various aberrations, including axial chromatic aberration, while also pursuing ultimate performance in terms of resolution and contrast reproduction.
  • High performance & compact: The newly designed optical system uses anomalous partial dispersion glass in 6 of its 8 elements in 6 groups. Despite its high performance, the lens has a total length of 54.8mm (from the mount surface), eliminating vignetting in the shooting frame when using a rangefinder.
  • The minimum focusing distance is 0.5m: It can focus down to 0.5m, exceeding the rangefinder’s minimum focusing distance of 0.7m. This is particularly useful when shooting with cameras equipped with live view functionality.
  • Click the branching point of the rangefinder coupling range: It features a mechanism that lets you recognize the branching point of the rangefinder coupling range with a click while focusing.
  • Includes a dedicated metal hood: To maintain the flare-cutting effect while eliminating interference with the shooting frame when mounted, a dedicated metal lens hood is included, seamlessly integrated with the lens body and featuring a short protrusion of approximately 9mm.
  • Manual focus allows for precise focusing: The all-metal helicoid unit, machined and adjusted with high precision, and the use of high-quality grease that produces just the right amount of torque enable smooth focusing and precise focus adjustments.
  • Bayonet-type VM mount: The lens mount uses a VM mount compatible with the Leica M mount.
  • Equipped with a rangefinder coupling system: the high-precision rangefinder coupling mechanism allows precise focusing even at wide apertures.

F4 로 다소 어두운 망원렌즈인데, 컨셉이 독특하네요.

살짝 어둡지만 컴팩트한 크기에 아포렌즈, 그리고 0.5mm 최소초점거리까지 갖췄습니다.

느낌이 왠지 화질은 끝내줄 것 같은 느낌이네요 ㅎ

최근에는 중국 브랜드 신제품만 많았는데 오랜만에 출시한 보익 렌즈라서 반가운 것 같습니다.

정보가 간간히 있었던 것 같은데 이제 날짜가 구체화 되는 듯 하네요.

APO 라서 기대가 되긴하는데.. 1.7 조리개라서 살짝 아쉬움이 좀 있습니다.

아예 하이스펙으로 가던가..아니면 가성비를 찾던가 했으면 좋았을텐데..

어쨌든 킥스타터 출시 가격을 좀 봐야겠군요~

폴라에 이어서 7매옥 카피버전을 출시해서 인기몰이 중인 맨들러에서 50.4 PRE-ASPH 버전을 내놓으려나 봅니다.

폴라에서 제작시 워낙에 인정받았던 7매옥이었는데, 맨들러에서 자체적으로 새롭게 내놓는 50.4 는 어떨지..

맨들러사의 제품이 가격대비 퀄리티가 가장 밸런스가 좋아보이긴 하더라구요.

7월에 공식 출시가 되려는 것 같은데 기대됩니다.

After one and a half years of silence, Meyer Optik Gorlitz (based in Hamburg, Germany) is currently developing a new 42mm f/1.2 lens – here are the details:

독일의 메이어 옵틱에서 42.2 렌즈를 개발 중이라 하는군요.

들어보기만 했지 실제로 써보진 못한 브랜드네요.

42 화각이 특이하긴 한데 더 특이한건 조리개가 붉은색입니다.

마치 충혈된 눈으로 바라보는 듯한 느낌일 것 같기도…ㅋ

Literally a few minutes after I published my previous blog post, I got a notification about the official announcement of the new limited-edition 7Artisans × Seagull M 35mm f/1.7 silver lens for Leica M-mount. You can now purchase one of the 500 limited-edition lenses on the official 7artisans website. The price is $369.

LLL에서 6월 5일, 75mm f/1.5 Z21 렌즈 공개 예정

As previously reported, Light Lens Lab will continue developing the “Z21” series M-mount lenses with additional focal lengths, retaining the same rendering and characteristics as the current Light Lens Lab 50mm f/1.5 Z21.

On June 5th, 2026, Light Lens Lab will announce a new 75mm f/1.5 Z21 lens for Leica M-mount, further expanding the distinctive “Z21” series (a modern homage to the rare 1950s/60s Angénieux S21) to a 75mm focal length.

The Z21 line uses high-refractive-index, lanthanide-infused glass to recreate vintage character while improving contrast and usability. Expect a 10-blade (or similar) diaphragm for smooth bokeh, aluminum construction for lightweight (~300-350g), a minimum focus distance of ~0.7m, full-frame coverage, vintage-inspired with classic engraved markings, yet usable on modern digital Leica cameras.

이전에 보고된 바와 같이, 라이트 렌즈 랩은 현재 라이트 렌즈 랩 50mm f/1.5 Z21과 동일한 렌더링과 특성을 유지하면서 초점 거리가 추가된 “Z21” 시리즈 M 마운트 렌즈를 계속 개발할 예정입니다.

2026년 6월 5일, 라이트 렌즈 랩은 라이카 M 마운트를 위한 새로운 75mm f/1.5 Z21 렌즈를 발표하며, 독특한 “Z21” 시리즈(희귀한 1950년대/60년대 앙제니외 S21에 대한 현대적인 오마주)를 75mm 초점 거리로 더욱 확장할 예정입니다.

Z21 라인은 고굴절률 란타넘이 주입된 유리를 사용하여 빈티지한 캐릭터를 재현하면서 대비와 사용성을 향상시킵니다. 부드러운 보케를 위한 10블레이드(또는 유사한) 다이어프램, 경량을 위한 알루미늄 구조(약 300~350g), 최소 초점 거리 약 0.7m, 풀 프레임 커버리지, 클래식한 각인 표시로 빈티지에서 영감을 받았지만 현대 디지털 라이카 카메라에서 사용할 수 있습니다.

렌더링은 유지하면서 화각만 늘린 형태인가 봅니다.

이번에 75미리 화각으로 출시하나 보군요.

LLL 에서 최근에 무언가 울궈먹기? 식으로 개발하는 건 아닌가 싶기도 합니다.

하우징은 리지드를 가져다 쓰면서 렌더링은 다른 걸 쓴다던지.. 이번에는 렌더링은 유지하면서 화각만 바꾼다던지..

아주 새롭기 보다는 애매하게 파생상품을 내놓는 기분이 들기도 합니다..ㅎ

제가 LLL 의 고가정책에 반감이 있어서 그런지도 모르겠지만 말이죠..^^;;
