7Artisans × Seagull 35mm f/1.7 limited edition 렌즈 출시

Literally a few minutes after I published my previous blog post, I got a notification about the official announcement of the new limited-edition 7Artisans × Seagull M 35mm f/1.7 silver lens for Leica M-mount. You can now purchase one of the 500 limited-edition lenses on the official 7artisans website. The price is $369.

The lens is developed through a collaboration between Shenzhen-based 7Artisans and Shanghai Seagull Digital Camera Co., Ltd. (China’s oldest camera manufacturer, famous for its TLR cameras):

중국의 2회사, 7아티산과 시걸이 합작하여 35.7 렌즈를 내놓았습니다.

$369 로 책정된 가격에, 500개 한정 수량의 리미티드 에디션 이군요.

35.4 정도의 스펙이면 더 좋지 않았을까.. 하는 아쉬움이 살짝 있습니다 ㅎㅎ

The new 7Artisans 135mm f/1.8 MAX lens (E/Z/L) will be released in May. Additional information on the upcoming lens can be found here (check also the official website for updates):

“The 7Artisans 135mm F1.8 AF is a large-aperture prime lens compatible with full-frame sensors. My guess is that this lens is based on the Viltrox AF 135mm f/1.8 lens ($899):

가격은 빌트록스 135.8 을 기준으로 삼았네요. $899

가격은 좀 더 저렴하면 좋을 것 같은데.. 5월을 기다려 봅니다~~

7Artisans  will soon release a new 35mm f/2.8 lens for L39 screw mount (LTM/Leica thread mount):

Here is what we know so far about the new lens (check the official 7Artisans website for updates):

  • Focal Length: 35mm
  • Maximum Aperture: f/2.8
  • Optical Construction: 7 elements in 5 groups – classic double-Gauss structure (modern coatings for high-definition sharpness while retaining vintage character and flare resistance)
  • Mount: Leica M bayonet with native dual L39/M39 screw-mount compatibility
  • Focus Type: fully rangefinder-coupled
  • Minimum Focus Distance: 0.7 m
  • Dimensions: Ultra-slim, only 20 mm thick
  • Weight: 88 g (one of the lightest full-frame M-mount lenses available)
  • The front nameplate ring does not rotate during focusing (major usability improvement over classic Elmar-style lenses)
  • Lens Hood: Comes with two different hoods included
  • Filter Support: exact thread size not yet listed
  • Build & Aesthetic: All-metal retro/vintage styling inspired by golden-era rangefinder lenses (Leica Elmar influence)
  • Price (approximate at launch): ~2330 RMB / $325 USD (very affordable third-party option)
  • The lens is currently being tested

살짝 뜬금없기는 하지만 7아티산에서 LTM 마운트용 35미리 F2.8 렌즈를 출시하려나 봅니다.

디자인도 클래식한 모습을 채용했던데, 아주 구형 RF 카메라들을 타겟으로 만든 것 같기도 하구요.

M마운트 유저들도 LTM 어댑터링을 끼우면 그만이니까요 ㅎㅎ

바르낙이나 보익 R 초기, 캐논 RF 등의 유저들에게 괜찮을 것 같습니다.

다만 가격이 생각보다 높다는 느낌..?

Product Description

The 7Artisans 135mm F1.8 AF is a large-aperture prime lens designed for full-frame sensors. It is planned to be available for Sony E, Nikon Z, and L-mount systems, and can be used with mirrorless cameras from each system.

With a focal length of 135mm and a bright F1.8 aperture, it delivers strong subject compression and shallow depth of field, allowing the subject to stand out dramatically. It is ideal for portrait photography and other situations where you want to emphasize your subject.

The minimum focusing distance is 0.68m, which is relatively short for a 135mm-class lens, enabling close-up shots with strong subject impact.

In terms of operation, it features an aperture ring for intuitive aperture control. An AF/MF switch allows smooth switching between autofocus and manual focus depending on the shooting situation. CP+ 쇼가 이제 정말 얼마남지 않았군요. 7아티산에서 망원 단렌즈가 나오나 봅니다.

135.8 렌즈의 이미지가 유출되었는데요. 아예 모습이 유출된 것이니 나오는 건 확실하겠네요.

70cm 이 되지 않는 최소 초점 거리가 인상적인데.. 가격만 기대대로 저렴하다면!!

7Artisans is teasing a new lightweight (≈90g) lens that will be officially announced on January 27th. I am pretty sure this is the previously reported 7Artisans AF 40mm f/2.5 FF (Sony and Viltrox both already have 40mm f/2.5 lenses):

그동안 계속 언급되어 오던 7Artisan 의 40mm f2.5 렌즈가 1월 27일에 등장하려나 봅니다.

이제 티저가 나왔으니 공개는 뭐.. 당연하겠죠..ㅎㅎ

TTArtisan 의 40mm f2.0 렌즈가 이미 히트를 친 상황에서 이 렌즈가 얼마나 더 가볍고 더 싸고 더 화질이 좋은지에 따라 승자의 판가름이 날 것 같습니다. 이미 스펙상 조리개는 좀 어두우니.. 분명 더 가벼워야 할테고, 훨씬 떠 싸야할텐데 말이죠…ㅋ

루머 공개하자마자 얼마 안되서 바로 출시가 되네요..ㅎㅎ

마크2 인 만큼 이전 버전보다 어느정도 좋아진 걸 부각하는 것 같습니다.

공식 홈피에 가보니 가격은 $469 으로 책정되었네요.

M마운트에서 50미리 이상의 화각 렌즈를 쓰지 않는터라 큰 관심은 없지만,,

망원렌즈 좋아하시는 분들께는 새로운 옵션이 될 것 같습니다~
