아마 영상 촬영시 수동렌즈 수요가 그래도 좀 있어서,, 차라리 저렴하게 수동렌즈를 출시하는지도 모르겠습니다.

Today, Leica has announced a new addition to the Classic Line of M lenses. The newly released Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 in Glossy Black Paint takes the silver chrome reissue of the classic pre-ASPH 50mm Summilux released earlier this year and dresses it in one of Leica’s most coveted finishes. The lens combines the classic optical character of the second-generation Summilux from 1962 with mid-century styling cues and a deep, piano-black paint over brass construction.
Like the silver chrome version, the black paint Summilux retains the solid brass barrel, pre-ASPH optical design, 0.7m close focus, and E46 filter size. For 50mm Summilux aficionados, the lens offers the same faithful recreation of the vintage lens, now in a finish that will develop a distinctive patina as the black lacquer gradually wears to reveal the brass underneath.
With its glossy black paint over brass, the Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 weighs in at approximately 417 grams, essentially matching the silver version and coming in about 100 grams heavier than the original early-1960s lens. The scalloped focusing ring, red distance scale in feet, and clip-on ventilated hood preserve the lens’s mid-century character. Leica includes a black metal lens cap and a black plastic push-on hood cap for a period-accurate presentation.
The seven element optical design is directly based on the second-generation Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4, produced from 1962 to 2004 with little change over its four-decade run. Renowned for its exceptional image quality and signature rendering, the lens delivers a beautifully soft, luscious bokeh wide-open, making it a go-to choice for portrait photographers and anyone looking to create striking subject isolation. When stopped down, the lens offers improved sharpness and contrast, benefitting from modern optical coatings and manufacturing precision while preserving the unique character of its predecessor.
Because the minimum focus distance remains 0.7m, the entire focusing range is fully rangefinder coupled. This makes the black paint Summilux well-suited for film photographers and rangefinder purists who prefer to work solely through the optical finder without switching to Live View for closer distances. The handling, balance, and focusing feel are all tuned to deliver a traditional M shooting experience with classic rendering and modern reliability.
The Leica Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 in Glossy Black is available immediately in a silver chrome finish, priced at $3,895. As with other recent Leica Classic Line lens launches, supply will be limited at launch. To purchase the Leica Summilux-M 50 f/1.4, you can visit Leica Store Miami by clicking the button below, calling 305-921-4433, or sending an email to info@leicastoremiami.com. Four Leica M-Lenses Available as Coveted Product Variants
Leica Camera AG launches three M-Lenses in the Leica Safari Design, as well as a variant featuring a glossy black finish
Leica M-Lenses are legendary, embodying exceptional performance, masterful craftsmanship, and iconic design recognised around the globe. Developed and manufactured in Germany, they epitomise the essence of the Leica philosophy through precision, resilience and enduring value. Leica Camera AG is expanding its portfolio with four M-Lenses that stand out for their special design: the Summilux-M 35 f/1.4 ASPH., the Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 ASPH. and the Summicron-M 28 f/2 ASPH. in the olive-green Leica Safari design, as well as the Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 from the Classic line featuring a glossy black finish.
Leica Safari Editions
By launching these three lenses in the Leica Safari look, the company is continuing the longstanding tradition of this popular design variant. It is characterised by a striking colour scheme featuring a highly durable matt olive-green finish, making it the perfect match for the Leica M11-P Safari. Further design features – such as the silver-chrome brass focus tab, the feet scale in red and the metre scale in white – add stylish accents. As the Leica Safari Edition, the three fast M-Lenses – Summilux-M 35 f/1.4 ASPH., Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 ASPH. and Summicron-M 28 f/2 ASPH. – featuring an extended close focus distance represents an exclusive highlight. In terms of performance and build, they match the respective series models and, as compact wide-angle, reportage, and standard focal lengths, offer maximum freedom and flexibility in image composition.
Design variant with glossy black paint finish
The elegant, glossy black paint finish has long been among the most coveted Leica looks and now lends the design variant of the Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 its distinctive aesthetic. Thanks to its picturesque bokeh when shooting with a wide aperture, the image aesthetics of this fast classic lens are as emblematic of the Leica look as the exclusive glossy black finish. Over the years, frequent use creates a unique patina on the paintwork, partially revealing the brass underneath. In this way, every single unit of this M-Lens, which belongs to the Classic line, gradually reveals its very own story. The design variant is perfectly complemented by a classic round lens hood, likewise finished in glossy black paint.

The second monochrome generation of the Leica Q family featuring a dedicated black-and-white sensor
A century ago, the Leica I defied convention and transformed the field of photography by becoming the first mass-produced 35mm camera. This pioneering spirit endures in Leica’s monochrome cameras, defined by an unwavering commitment to pure black-and-white photography and the bold choice to deliberately renounce colour. The same is as true now as it was back then – these cameras embody a mindset of stepping beyond the familiar to explore new visual frontiers. With the arrival of the Leica Q3 Monochrom, a new chapter unfolds in the evolution of compact mirrorless full-frame cameras – dedicated wholly to the art of composing with light and shadow.
As the second monochrome generation in the Q family, the Leica Q3 Monochrom distils photography to its purest form, capturing only brightness data with its dedicated black-and-white sensor. Its 60 MP monochrome sensor with Triple Resolution Technology delivers remarkable sharpness, impressive dynamic range and exceptional tonal depth – no colour filters and no compromising on detail. It captures images at resolutions of 60, 36 and 18 MP across an ISO range from 100 to 200,000, and records video with up to 8K resolution. Alongside the fast Leica Summilux 28 f/1.7 ASPH. with its wide angle and fixed focal length, it delivers low-noise images rich in nuance and texture – consistently, and even in challenging lighting conditions.
The design of the Leica Q3 Monochrom stays faithful to the contemporary Q family while embracing the unmistakable monochrome aesthetic. Made in Germany, it exemplifies functional beauty in its design and superb craftsmanship in the tactile quality of its finest materials. The all-metal body and lens hood are finished in black, with engravings – such as the “Monochrom” lettering on the top plate – rendered in understated black or grey, while the leatherette covering features a refined, stylish finish. Finally, the intentional absence of the red Leica logo accentuates the camera’s minimalist design.
The high-resolution 5.76 megapixel OLED viewfinder, rapid and precise hybrid autofocus, and tilting touch display highlight the Leica Q3’s impressive performance capabilities. The Q3 Monochrom offers maximum creative freedom to dedicated black-and-white photographers and filmmakers by allowing them to effortlessly switch to macro mode at a close focus distance of 17 cm and choose between automatic or manual control. With its IP52 rating, this durable camera is safeguarded against dust and splashes of water.
With digital zoom ranging from 28 to 90 mm and a whole host of video features, the Leica Q3 Monochrom provides extensive possibilities for capturing black-and-white imagery in exceptional quality throughout everyday creative practice. Thanks to reliable, user-friendly connectivity with the Leica FOTOS App via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C and Micro HDMI, content can be securely integrated into mobile workflows with exceptionally fast transfer speeds.
The Leica Q3 Monochrom features a well-organised, intuitive user interface with a distinct separation between photo and video functions. Each follows its own colour scheme and, combined with the carefully designed icons and menu navigation, allows for especially intuitive operation. Leica will introduce this new operating concept for Q-Cameras to both the Leica Q3 and the Leica Q3 43 through a firmware update at the end of the year.
The Leica Q3 Monochrom also plays a pioneering role within the Q family through its innovative use of Content Credentials technology. It is the first Q-Camera to offer images with a digital signature compliant with the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI), ensuring tamper-proof verification of their origin and any subsequent modifications.
Optional accessories broaden the creative possibilities and enable personalisation of the Leica Q3 Monochrom. The new monochrome camera is compatible with accessories designed for the Leica Q3, further enhancing its functionality. Alongside the Q3 Monochrom, Leica is also launching a handgrip with wireless charging and a coordinated leatherette covering, a red filter, and a selection of carrying straps.
The Leica Q3 Monochrom will be available worldwide from 20 November 2025 at Leica Stores, in the Leica Online Store and from authorised dealers. The recommended retail price is EUR 6,750 including VAT.

The original Dallmeyer Septac Anastigmat 50mm f/1.5 dates back to the 1950s (with prototypes as early as the late 1920s or 1930s) and was produced by the British optical company J.H. Dallmeyer. It’s a rare cine and still photography lens, originally an option for cameras like the Ilford Witness, and is considered one of the fastest and most coveted 50mm lenses from that era. The design is a 7-element in 4-group Sonnar-type anastigmat, based on earlier innovations like the 1938 Simlar lens. Vintage examples exist in uncoated and coated (e.g., DC coated) versions, with the uncoated ones being particularly rare and prized for their “oil-painting” style bokeh, soft melting highlights, and three-dimensional rendering that doesn’t match modern sharp optics. Originals are extremely scarce, with auction prices reaching around £25,000 (about $32,000 USD) for well-preserved copies.
