Leica M12 에서 손떨방 IBIS 테스트 중..??

I received reliable information that Leica has tested IBIS (in-body image stabilization) for the upcoming M12 camera, but I’m not aware of the test’s outcome or whether IBIS will be implemented in the next M model.

The Leica M12 is rumored to be announed in 2026.

Back in 2022, Stefan Daniel said that in-body stabilization for the M system is not visible because of size constraints – maybe the technology changed since:

Light Lens Lab 에서 300mm f/1.9 APO 렌즈를 개발 중이라는 소문

암스테르담에서 열리는 IBC 2025 에서 중국 제조사들이 렌즈를 쏟아내나 봅니다.

아마도 대부분 미러리스 렌즈로 예상되는데, 당장 L마운트로 출시하지 않아도

중국브랜드들이 대부분 L마운트도 함께 제조하는 분위기라서 결국 나오겠지요.

그런 점에서 미리 출시될 렌즈들을 한 번 살펴보는 것도 좋을 것 같습니다.

Lee Works 28mm/2.8 렌즈로 컴팩트 광각 렌즈인 것 같은데,

사실 전 이 렌즈가 가장 궁금하고 기대가 되네요.

일단 다음주가 되서 행사가 시작되면 뉴스가 쏟아질 듯~~~

빌트록스 로드맵에 2개의 렌즈가 추가

Viltrox added two new lenses to their roadmap:

  • Viltrox AF 9mm f/2.8 Air E/Z (APS-C)
  • Viltrox AF 14mm f/4 Air E (full-frame)

Since Viltrox is now part of the L-Mount Alliance, I expect them to release their top-selling full-frame lenses also for L-mount.

It seems that the small lenses on the teaser have already been released (Sigma 12mm f/1.4 DC DN lens and Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 DC Art?)

시그마에서 출시된 렌즈들에 대해서 Teaser 를 뿌렸나봅니다.

각종 추측이 나오고 있는데.. 마지막 작은 렌즈에 대한 의문이 남아 있네요.

그렇다면 Leica M12 는?

The Leica M12 and the upcoming Leica M11-V with EVF are two different models. I already reported that the rumored Leica M camera with EVF doesn’t mean the optical rangefinder is dead. The Leica M12 will be a classical digital rangefinder camera that is rumored to be announced in 2026.

The M12 trademark seems to have been abandoned by Leica (all Leica trademarks can be found here). If you search for “M12”, there are many already-approved “M12” trademarks. The Leica M12 trademark status in the United States Patent and Trademark Office is currently listed as “active”. Perhaps the next Leica model will not be called the M12?

얼마전 M11-V 의 출시관련 소식이 들리더니 이어서 M12 출시 소식도 이어지는군요.

아마도 2026년 출시가 예상되지만 여전히 클래식 M라인은 유지된다는 증거이기도 합니다.

대신 상표등록 문제로 M12 로 불리지 못할 수도 있을 것 같군요~
