The Light Lens Lab 75mm f/2 SP II lens is based on the legendary Cooke Speed Panchro Series II, a classic cinema lens from the 1940s known for its distinctive soft, glowing “Cook look” and dreamlike quality, optimized by LLL for modern full-frame digital sensors while preserving that vintage Hollywood aesthetic:

History: The original Speed Panchro lenses were the industry standard for Hollywood motion picture production from the 1930s through the 1950s. They were used to shoot films such as Casablanca, The Sound of Music, Psycho, and The Godfather.

Leica confirms in‑house sensor development, potentially for M12 and SL4
Leica’s CEO Andrea Kaufmann has confirmed that the company is once again developing its own image sensor. After using AMS sensors up to the M10 and switching to Sony sensors for the M11 generation, Leica appears set to return to an in‑house solution—a process that typically spans about five years and is reportedly already well underway.It’s notable to see Leica charting its own path again. The move raises interesting questions about what prompted the shift away from Sony sensors, which continue to set benchmarks for innovation (for example, partially stacked architectures in the A7V and ongoing global shutter advances like those seen in the A9II).Going in‑house could give Leica more control over color science, microlens design tailored for rangefinder optics, and supply chain independence. M10 은 AMS, M11 은 소니센서를 사용해왔는데, 라이카는 그게 어지간히 싫었나보네요.
5년정도 소요되는 자체센서 개발을 선언? 했고 사실상 공개된 지금은 거의 완료된게 아닌가 싶기도 합니다.
M12 에서 탑재를 예측했는데,, SL4 에서도 당연히 탑재될거라 하네요.
이게 과연 득일지 실일지,, 나와봐야 알겠지만, 디지털 쪽 개발이니 파나소닉이 많이 도와주고? 있지 않을까 싶네요.
M10, M11 센서 제조사가 다른데,, 제 기억으론 큰 차이가 없었고 M11 에 대한 유저들의 만족도가 높았던 것 같은데.
8 months ago at the NAB show 7Artisans announced the development of the new 40mm f/2.5 Full Frame autofocus lens. Finally the lens will be officially launched in January/February. It’s a very compact lens with aperture ring and autofocus. Good fit on a Lumix S9 and Sigma BF camera!

와.. 오랜만에 맘에 드는 렌즈가 또 나왔네요.
TTartisan 40미리에 이어서 바로 구입하고 싶은 놈입니다.ㅎ
팬케익 렌즈를 좋아하는데 35미리라니요~ 조리개는 F2.2 로 살짝 포기해도 됩니다.
이정도 크기면 S9 에도 제격일 것 같고, 제가 쓰는 라이카 T 에 크롭 50미리로 써도 너무 좋을 것 같습니다.
