이번에 판매가 시작된 렌즈는 블랙 버전과 실버 버전 각각 별도의 eBay 판매 페이지를 통해 직접 구매할 수 있다. 두 마감 모두 동일한 광학 설계를 공유하며, 사용자는 자신이 사용하는 라이카 M바디나 다른 M마운트 카메라의 외관에 맞춰 색상을 선택할 수 있다.

High performance & compact: The newly designed optical system uses anomalous partial dispersion glass in 6 of its 8 elements in 6 groups. Despite its high performance, the lens has a total length of 54.8mm (from the mount surface), eliminating vignetting in the shooting frame when using a rangefinder.
The minimum focusing distance is 0.5m: It can focus down to 0.5m, exceeding the rangefinder’s minimum focusing distance of 0.7m. This is particularly useful when shooting with cameras equipped with live view functionality.
Click the branching point of the rangefinder coupling range: It features a mechanism that lets you recognize the branching point of the rangefinder coupling range with a click while focusing.
Includes a dedicated metal hood: To maintain the flare-cutting effect while eliminating interference with the shooting frame when mounted, a dedicated metal lens hood is included, seamlessly integrated with the lens body and featuring a short protrusion of approximately 9mm.
Manual focus allows for precise focusing: The all-metal helicoid unit, machined and adjusted with high precision, and the use of high-quality grease that produces just the right amount of torque enable smooth focusing and precise focus adjustments.
Bayonet-type VM mount: The lens mount uses a VM mount compatible with the Leica M mount.

Cosina Co., Ltd. is releasing the APO-LANTHAR 90mm F4 Close Focus VM, a high-performance medium-telephoto lens designed exclusively for full-frame VM-mount cameras under the Voigtländer brand.
The APO-LANTHAR 90mm F4 Close Focus VM is a high-performance manual-focus medium-telephoto lens optimized for full-frame M-mount sensors. Its apochromatic design thoroughly eliminates various aberrations—including axial chromatic aberration—while pursuing the ultimate in resolution and contrast reproduction. While adopting an F4 maximum aperture—typical of traditional 90mm rangefinder lenses—it achieves uncompromising optical performance by utilizing anomalous partial dispersion glass for six of the eight elements in its luxurious seven-group configuration. Thanks to a simple extension mechanism and the F4 aperture, the lens maintains a compact total length of just 54.8mm from the mount surface. Weighing only 235g, it offers excellent portability and eliminates viewfinder blockage (vignetting) when using optical rangefinders. Equipped with a high-precision rangefinder coupling mechanism and an all-metal helicoid that provides a silky-smooth operating feel, this lens allows photographers to fully enjoy the authentic experience of focusing with a traditional rangefinder. It achieves a minimum focusing distance of 0.5m—extending beyond the standard 0.7m rangefinder coupling limit (which varies by camera)—thanks to a straight-extension helicoid design. It offers a maximum magnification of 0.28x (surpassing “quarter-macro” capability), and the apochromatic design ensures no image quality degradation during close-up shooting.
The lens features a mechanism that provides a tactile click to indicate the transition point of the rangefinder coupling range. Two exterior finishes are available: silver and black. It comes with a dedicated metal lens hood designed to integrate seamlessly with the lens body; with a projection of only about 9mm, it effectively cuts flare while avoiding interference with the image frame during shooting.

“In the world of Leica’s 50mm lenses, one optic has been the subject of conversation for more than half a century—the SUMMILUX‑M 1:1.4/50 PRE‑ASPH.
Back in the 1960s, when computers had yet to enter the realm of optical design and aspherical elements were still a rarity, a lens was born purely from the designer’s hand calculations and a deep, intuitive feel for glass. Such was the genesis of the Summilux‑M 1:1.4/50 E43.
As the gears of time turned into the 1990s, computer technology had become ubiquitous in optical design, and multi‑coating techniques had matured considerably. Through optimisation and refinement of the E43, Leica delivered its ultimate spherical answer to the standard 50mm Summilux: the 1:1.4/50 E46.
It carried forward the classic optical framework of the E43, yet introduced numerous thoughtful enhancements. In many ways, it struck a perfect equilibrium between sheer optical quality and distinctive character—achieving near‑aspherical resolution with a spherical construction, while retaining the uniquely alluring bokeh that spherical lenses are celebrated for.

On June 5th, 2026, Light Lens Lab will announce a new 75mm f/1.5 Z21 lens for Leica M-mount, further expanding the distinctive “Z21” series (a modern homage to the rare 1950s/60s Angénieux S21) to a 75mm focal length.
The Z21 line uses high-refractive-index, lanthanide-infused glass to recreate vintage character while improving contrast and usability. Expect a 10-blade (or similar) diaphragm for smooth bokeh, aluminum construction for lightweight (~300-350g), a minimum focus distance of ~0.7m, full-frame coverage, vintage-inspired with classic engraved markings, yet usable on modern digital Leica cameras.

The Light Lens Lab 50mm f/1.9 “Rigid-ZS6” is the newest addition to the Rigid Series, combining the classic 50mm f/1.9 “Super-Six” optical formula (6 elements in 4 groups, double-Gaussian design with full-frame 135 coverage) with the proven mechanical platform of the existing 50mm f/2 Rigid lens to deliver the original’s expressive bokeh and classical color rendering while boosting center sharpness for modern digital sensors. It is offered in two versions: the standard Rigid-ZS6 and a low-contrast Rigid-ZS6* (marked with an asterisk on the front ring) that provides greater highlight/shadow detail and a more film-like tonal response based on community feedback. The lens features an f/1.9 maximum aperture with a preset diaphragm and half-stop clicks, a compact build measuring just 45 mm long × 54 mm in diameter and weighing approximately 263 g, a brass outer barrel with aluminum/brass internals, M-mount quick-change bayonet, 0.7 m to infinity focus range, E39 filter thread, and compatibility with an optional A42 clip-on hood.
The 50mm f/1.9 “Rigid-ZS6” is a reinterpretation of the original “Super-Six” optical formula, paired with the established mechanical platform of the 50mm f/2 “Rigid.” It is designed to preserve the unique rendering characteristics of the original lens while improving usability and performance on modern digital systems.
