Light Lens Lab 28mm f/2.8 “Nine Element” lens for Leica M-mount now available

The previously reported Light Lens Lab 28mm f/2.8 "Nine Element"  lens for Leica M-mount is now officially announced and available for order at LLL and PopFlash. The intro price will be $799 for Chrome and $849 for Black Paint. The initial special price period will last until September 10, 2024, after that the price will resume to normal MSRP. Shipping will start on September 30, 2024.

• A close homage to the original "Nine Element"; it closely follows the original nine elements in a six-group design.
• Closely follows the original classical "Nine Element" rendering with quality and modern improvements.
• New made in-house elements infused with fluorite elements. An extra-low dispersion (ED) glass element improves edge-to-edge rendering performance, dispersion, and distortion.
• Optimized for digital sensors, elimination of red-fringing phenomenon that occurred on the original Nine Element.
• The lens retains the classic body aesthetic, with a classic focus tab and infinity lock. The lens, it is now made with brass alloy construction.
• Lenses are made by hand and assembled in limited quantities at the highest quality control and tolerance.
• Available in Chrome and Black Paint finishes
• Compatible with all digital M  cameras, Incompatible with Leica M5 and CL**

6군 9매라서 9매라는 별명이 있나 봅니다.

지난 번에 모양을 보고 28엘마릿 1세대로 예측했는데 역시 맞았네요.

짧게 써보고 방출했던 렌즈였는데.. 28 엘마릿 치고는 너무 고가라 가지고 다니기 너무 부담스러웠던 기억입니다.

그 모습을 그대로 베꼈?으니 저렴하게 28엘마릿 1세대를 사용해 볼 수도 있겠네요.

그냥 대놓고 카피하는 Light Lens Lab 이 이제는 그냥 그러려니 하는...

$799~$849 정도의 가격대로 책정이 되나본데.. 그냥.. 28엘마릿 3세대 정도를 저렴하게 쓰는게 낫지 않을까 싶지만

라이카 유저들의 취향은 알다가도 모르겠습니다~ 취향은 모두 다르니까요..ㅎㅎ

여튼 1세대를 그대로 복각했다면 후옥 돌출 구조라서 M9, M-P 에서 컬러캐스트가 어떨지 모르겠습니다.

M5, CL 에서는 안된다고 했는데 디지털에서는 가능하다고는 적혀있고.. 흠.... 글쎄요...ㅎ
