A reader sent me this picture of what appears to be a new Panasonic camera (Lumix S9?) - the only problem with the image is the label "DUMMY" present on several spots - maybe this is not the final version or perhaps this is just a prototype:

Panasonic already has teasers for a new Lumix camera announcement on May 23:

Various sources (Thanks!) sent me images of the new Panasonic Lumix S9 with the 26mm f/8.0 lens. For the first time we see the 26mm lens and also the red version of the S9 (there will be also Black, Green, Blue versions).

And onto his image we see the new LUT button that will allow to quickly select your own styles:

1) Panasonic Lumix S9 specs:

• compact Full Frame L-mount camera
• 24.2MP sensor of the S5II
• a bit more compact than Fujifilm X100VI
• no integrated EVF
• no mechanical shutter
• no fan
• fully articulating screen
• It has IBIS
• dedicated LUT button on camera to select your style
• possibility to upload your own LUT styles
• four different body color versions (Black, Blue, Green, Red)-
• $200-$300 cheaper than S5II
• The camera is aimed at “content creators” and people who want to have a very compact camera.
• There is an additional attachable hand-grip

2) Pansonic Lumix 18-40mm L-mount lens:

• compact Full Frame AF lens
• aperture unclear yet

3) Panasonic 26mm f/8.0:

• manual focus
• 0,25m close focus
• Unconfirmed: Comes as FREE lens when buying the S9

새로나올 파나소닉 카메라에 대한 정보가 계속 쏟아지고 있습니다.

찔끔찔끔 나와서 이걸 매번 정리하기가 좀 귀찮았는데..

거의 윤곽이 이제 나오는 것 같군요.

모델명은 루믹스 S9 으로 풀프레임 렌즈 교환식으로 출시됩니다.

Q3 의 형제바디는 아니군요. 뷰파인더 없는 컴팩트 카메라 형태입니다.

라이카의 TL, TL2 의 풀프레임 버전 정도로 보면 될 것 같습니다.

눈에 띄는건 손떨방이 탑재되었다는 부분! 기계 셔터는 빠졌군요.

18-40 렌즈와 26 팬케익 렌즈와 함께 출시되는데 26미리는 MF 렌즈? 라는게 좀 의외입니다..

뭐 X100 보다 얇게 만들려고 안간힘을 쓴 것 같은데.. F8 렌즈가 수동 포커스라니.. 그건 좀 아닌 것 같은데 말이죠.

그래서 그런지 그냥 공짜로 끼워준다는 이야기도 있고.. F2.8 팬케익이 따로 또 나온다는 이야기도 있네요.

가격은 $1,500 정도로 책정된다는 소문도 있습니다.

20-60 렌즈에 이어서 18-40 렌즈를 내놓다니.. L마운트 유저들에게는 좋은 소식입니다..^^

작년 블프때 S5 프로모션을 한 번 참았는데.. S5 II 프로모션이 뭔가 있을 것 같은 예감..

블랙매직 카메라는 벌써 백만원 할인 프로모션이 들어갔다는 소식도 있습니다..ㅋ
